In a world where climate change is at the forefront of everyone’s mind, Belva’s Attic is promising to do our part. Businesses are prone to produce much waste, whether that be through shipping (carbon emissions), packaging (plastic waste), or improper buying actions (not purchasing locally or second hand when possible). We want to walk you through three ways we at Belva’s Attic have committed ourselves to being eco-friendly!

Compostable Packaging
When we started our brand, we knew how important it was as consumers to shop sustainably, and wanted to offer those same benefits to our buyers. We make the effort to always ship with eco-friendly products that are not harmful to the environment. The mailers we use are made from corn and break down in landfills… this means no clogging landfills after you throw away the exterior!

The printer we use is a Green Generation printer, meaning the technology present detects the best practices to stay earth conscious. The cartridges of ink are also properly recycled after use at a local recycling facility!
Terrapass
Terrapass is a company that helps offset carbon emissions from shipping costs, or travel costs our company may produce. We give money to Terrapass to ensure what we’re putting into the environment we can also repair. To read more about their mission and explore options for yourself, click here.

Biodegradable Tape
We are proud to introduce the newest addition to our brand… Cellophane and Cellulose Biodegradable tape! This is an extra cost for our brand we are happy to make! Now, you may notice a slight yellow tinge on the tape found on the outside of your packaging. This is due to the change of eco-friendly tape!
We hope you’ve learned something new today, and reading how Belva’s Attic ensures eco-friendly practices gives you confidence in shopping with us!
